Starting on the 1st or 15th of the month after the 2nd confirmed heartbeat, first-time Hatch surrogates residing in California are typically compensated $3,500 a month, with the remainder of the first-time CA surrogate fee of $50,000 administered at birth. Surrogates carrying twins will receive an additional $10,000 for the twin pregnancy.

Generally, your spouse gets anywhere from 7-10 days of lost wages to take when they want throughout the entire pregnancy. Most take one or two days for the transfer and a couple for the birth—the spouse’s lost wages cap at $2,500. $500,000 life insurance policy paid for by Intended Parents, designated for surrogate’s beneficiary.
